Supervision of children is Park Street Academy's first concern. Each class has
3-4 team teachers, making our ratios approximately 1:6. All staff members are certified in CPR and First Aid. Teachers are required to attend professional improvement classes throughout the school year and monthly meetings to brainstorm ideas, plan lessons and discuss school matters and events.

Park Street Academy "lead teachers" are NJ State Certified or have earned their CDA (Child Development Associate) certification. We pride ourselves in our low staff turnover. The majority of our teachers have been at our school for 3-6 years.

Park Street Academy has been a member of the National Child Care Association (NCCA), New Jersey Child Care Association (NJCCA), and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD).
